Senior Manager

Simon is an experienced insolvency practitioner who is known for finding commercial solutions to the challenges faced by companies in financial difficulty. He advises directors on financial and operational restructuring strategies including turnaround management, preparation of restructuring plans, safe harbour and voluntary administration.
His experience includes restructuring the businesses of SMEs as well as ASX listed companies such as Surfstitch Group Ltd (ASX: SRF) and South American Ferro Metals Ltd (ASX: SFZ). He also managed operations at Clive Palmer’s nickel refinery in Townsville during its external administration.
Simon also has significant experience in expert witness testimony, and routinely prepares expert Court reports to assist directors and companies being sued by liquidators for unfair preferences and insolvent trading.
Prior to joining the professional, Simon had a successful career as a solicitor advising clients on technical insolvency issues and complex commercial litigation.
Outside of work Simon is an experienced beekeeper and an avid collector of modern rock poster art.
